Bios

 • Ms. Delia Deanda

In 2012, Ms. Delia led her center to achieve National Accreditation through NAC and became a Four Star Vendor through the Texas Rising Star program with Work Force. Ms. Delia participates in numerous local child development organizations and was selected to participate in the TCCA Mentoring Program for Center Directors in Austin. In addition to her ongoing training hours, she has an associate's degree and continues to stay current with the early childhood field. She is a proud Center Director for KinderCare, but even more proud to be a mother of a ten-year-old who grew up in KinderCare. She continues to excel intellectually, socially, and emotionally in elementary school because of the foundations she was given in preschool at KinderCare.

 • Ms. Heidi Paiz

Ms. Heidi began her career at KinderCare in 2006 as a Teacher at the Learning Center in Austin. She has her associate credential and enjoys continuing to learn through seminars, workshops, and early childhood education literature. She is married and the mother of three children, and has lived in Austin for 23 years.

 • Ms. Blanca

Ms. Blanca's goal is to nurture children's creativity. She provides age-appropriate tools that promote artistic exploration and creativity, and supervises the infants as they use them; supports imaginative play with photo cards and puppets; and encourages self-expression through movement and music. Ms. Blanca provides a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where your infant can explore and make new discoveries. She loves coming to work every day to be greeted with sweet baby smiles. Ms. Blanca appreciates that families entrust her with their infant's care and education, and so she is committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for both the children and their parents.

 • Ms. Rebecca

Ms. Rebecca's goal is to create a safe, nurturing “home away from home” where children can learn to express themselves and understand their own unique identities. She fills each day with fun activities that balance playtime, nurturing, and learning. Communication is important to Ms. Rebecca, so families in her classroom receive regular teacher-family communication, including daily updates, monthly newsletters, and scheduled parent/teacher conferences. She looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

 • Ms. Eliza

Ms. Eliza's goal is to increase children's language skills and help children experience a sense of community in her classroom. She guides children as they develop new physical abilities and express their own individuality through imaginative play, music, dancing, and outdoor fun. Ms. Eliza provides opportunities for children to practice sorting, matching, and categorizing while also providing blocks and math cards for children to use to learn counting, number identification, and patterning. Ms. Eliza also places a focus on age-appropriate problem resolution and, of course, making new friends! Children in her classroom strengthen large-motor skills with riding equipment, balls, and movement activities; improve fine-motor and eye-hand coordination through pouring, stringing, and (supervised) cutting activities; and develop coordination using beanbags, hula hoops, and balance beams. At meal time, Ms. Eliza encourages children to serve themselves so that they can begin developing self-reliance--but always gives a helping hand when someone needs it!
